Have you ever taken a minute to look beyond the everyday? To see the texture in the ground that you walk on, the reflections that the sun leaves on the wall, or the look of the shiny red skin on your apple? For this challenge, we want you to discover the textures that surround you.

The Creator Class, Canon Creator Lab and photographer Emilie Ristevski want you to get out there (and step up your photo game in the process) by submitting your best shot utilizing the theme or technique of TEXTURE.

Explore different ranges — wide, long, or macro — #thecreatorclass community wants to see what you find.

Post your TEXTURE photo on Instagram using the hashtags #tccchallenges and #canoncreatorlab — and make sure you’re following @thecreatorclass in order to be eligible.

One TCC member will receive a Canon prize pack (Canon EOS 5D MK IV camera with 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens) and a feature on @thecreatorclass + thecreatorclass.com. Additionally, you’ll receive a travel voucher to go on a unique photo adventure of your own.
